Hi Friends,
Where are you on your ‘2020 New Year, New Me’ Resolutions?
We are more than half-way through 2020. In the midst of COVID-19, and if you’re anything like me, then this year is definitely not going as expected at all.
Do you have any goals or 2020 resolutions that haven’t been accomplished, but just haven’t gotten to them for whatever reason?
There is ample data that supports written down goals are more likely to be accomplished. It is important that each goal is specific, has a deadline and has 3 steps listed under each goal to achieve it.
Writing down goals and including your child in this project can be a great language activity. You can learn something new about him or her and make it a bonding experience.
Learning to set goals by writing them down, making them specific and including 3 steps at a young age, can set your son or daughter up for many successful life events in the future. If your child is too young now to discuss or understand goals, consider making a real goal that improves your child’s environment or increases their joy.
We all need a little more joy during this unusual time!
